And then there were nine, as in only nine bouts that will appear at “UFC 177: Dillashaw vs. Barao II” after octagon rookie Richard Odoms was forced to withdraw from his heavyweight scrap against Ruslan Magomedov with an undisclosed injury.

Because the August 30 event is just around the corner, Magomedov will be assigned a new opponent on an upcoming card.

The good news is the show’s featured attraction between bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw and Renan Barao remains intact. However, the overall depth of the rest of the roster will have fans questioning whether it’s worth their $54.94.

Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California hosts the festivities.

Here is the show’s official roster:

Preliminary Card:

(Fox Sports 1 8PM ET/5PM PT)

Joe Soto vs. Anthony Birchak

Anthony Hamilton vs. Ruan Potts

Henry Cejudo vs. Scott Jorgensen

Lorenz Larkin vs. Derek Brunson

Justin Edwards vs. Yancy Medeiros

Ramsey Nijem vs. Carlos Diego Ferreira
