Following Saturday’s “UFC Fight Night: Bisping vs. Le” event in China, UFC president Dana White awarded Michael Bisping (pictured), Tyron Woodley, Alberto Mina and Yuta Sasaki each an additional $50,000 for their special performances inside the octagon.
For the first time since changing up their bonus structure, the UFC opted to not offer a “Fight of the Night” award. Instead, four athletes received “Performance of the Night” paydays.
Bisping blasted Cung Le in the main event, making the 42-year-old kickboxer look every bit his advanced age – despite Le’s new and improved physique.
Woodley needed only 61 seconds to dispose of Dong Hyun Kim in the co-featured attraction.
Sasaki submitted Roland Delorme with a rear-naked choke to score his check, while Mina TKOd Shinsho Anzai for his bonus.
UFC Fight Night 48 took place inside CotaiArena in Macau.
