To drop $54.95 on “UFC 177: Dillashaw vs. Barao II,” or not to drop 55 bones to watch an immediate rematch: that is the question.
There are plenty of MMA fans teetering on whether ordering Saturday’s pay-per-view broadcast is worth their hard-earned money. Actually, if you check our poll on the home page, they’ve already made up their minds that it’s not it.
In any case, TJ Dillashaw (pictured) served up an upset special over Renan Barao just three months ago to capture the bantamweight crown. Despite the lopsided win, Barao was granted an instant sequel because of his resume.
UFC president Dana White pumping Barao the game’s best pound-for-pound fighter prior to getting thrashed at UFC 173 could have had something to do with it, as well. Save face time!
Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California hosts the festivities.
