EA Sports' MMA

Fighting Spirit Magazine in the U.K. is reporting that EA Sports’ highly-anticipated MMA video game entitled “EA Sports’ MMA” has been delayed all the way until September 2010. Original dates had the game possibly releasing at the end of Q4.

The announcement comes on the heels of THQ’s flyer stating that the sequel to “UFC Undisputed 2009” will be released on May 25th, 2010.

EA Sports will be working closely with Strikeforce to produce the game with Fedor Emelianenko as the headlining character.

The UFC’s Randy Couture is also expected to have a character in the game.

Early screenshots and trailers of the game show promise, but the setback could cost them sales as the UFC could have a 4-month headstart on the video game giant.
