‘UFC 178: Johnson vs. Cariaso’ Extended Video Preview and Complete Fight Card

UFC Bantamweight Demetrious Johnson

UFC 178: Johnson vs. Cariaso” isn’t generating much buzz – outside of fans griping that the show’s featured attraction between flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson (pictured) and Chris Cariaso isn’t worth their $54.99.

However, if you’re able to look past the expected lopsided main event, the rest of the main card showcases significant scraps.

Eddie Alvarez makes his long-awaited UFC debut against Donald Cerrone in the co-main event.

Conor McGregor, the UFC’s next big thing (or the UFC’s current biggest thing, if you were to ask him), and Dustin Poirier get third-to-top billing.

Tim Kennedy vs. Yoel Romero and Cat Zingano vs. Amanda Nunes round out the pay-per-view lineup.

Don’t forget the return of former bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz goes down in the prelims. Cruz ends his 35-month hiatus against Takeya Mizugaki.

MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada serves as host.
