UFC 178 isn’t getting the hoopla it deserves because the show’s featured attraction between flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson (pictured) and Chris Cariaso isn’t expected to be too competitive. However, the rest of Saturday’s roster is quite solid.
Nonetheless, Johnson gets top billing once again, and should retain his title as a 16-1 odds-on favorite. Cariaso, who admitted he too was shocked when the UFC offered him a crack at the crown, comes in as a 7.5-1 longshot.
This particular fight might not be worth your $54.95, but the rest of the main card should make up for it. There should be some serious barn-burners there.
MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada hosts the festivities.
