What do Miesha Tate (pictured) and Sara McMann have in common? Besides wanting another tango with UFC bantamweight queen Ronda Rousey, they both want to fight each other.
McMann initiated the challenge by asking the UFC via Twitter Sunday.
“Hey @ufc, I’d like to fight @MieshaTate since she just beat an undefeated fighter Rin Nakai,” McMann wrote.
Tate promptly replied that she too would be down to duke it out with the wrestler.
“Any time any place pretty lady!” Tate responded.
The UFC might be gauging fan interest in the bantamweight battle, because they re-tweeted both posts.
McMann and Tate are each coming off wins. McMann bounced back from her TKO loss to Rousey with August’s split decision victory over Lauren Murphy.
Tate, meanwhile, is just two days removed from handing Rin Nakai her first pro blemish. “Cupcake” has rattled off two straight wins since losing to Rousey at UFC 168.
