Nate Diaz Finally Returns, Co-Headlines UFC on FOX 13 Against Rafael dos Anjos

The, “When is Nate Diaz (pictured) coming back?” questions can finally stop. On Tuesday, the UFC announced the controversial lightweight will co-headline UFC on FOX 13 against Rafael dos Anjos.

The December 13 event takes place inside US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

Diaz has been riding the pine since TKO’ing former top contender Gray Maynard in November. The 29-year-old has been demanding to renegotiate his contract, despite inking a new deal just three fights ago.

Diaz had dropped his two bouts prior to posterizing Maynard.

ESPN.com’s Brett Okamoto confirmed withe UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta that Diaz did not get a new deal.

Dos Anjos, meanwhile, has quietly won seven of his last eight scraps. The Brazilian will be riding a two-fight winning streak into their tango.

FOX broadcasts the main card live starting at 8PM ET/5PM PT.
