Earlier this month when Massachusetts became the 42nd State to regulate mixed martial arts, you knew it was only a matter of time before UFC president Dana White would take his show to his former stomping grounds. Well, the modern day Don King has just confirmed there will be an Octagon inside the TD Garden in Boston on August 28, 2010.

“You know how much this means to me and how long I’ve wanted to come there and how much I love the city of Boston,” White told the Herald. “Radio stations and personal friends and some bar owners in Boston have been really good to me since Day 1.”

The brash Prez stated they have already RSVP’d the date with the arena, however an official announcement won’t be made until gameday draws closer.

White, who lived in South Boston during his twenties before moving to Las Vegas to dominate the MMA market, is pumped to finally get his hands on Massachusetts, and he promises to not disappoint.

“Believe me when I tell you, I’m gonna bring it back this summer,” White told the Herald. “I’m going to put on a show that’s going to blow the (expletive) roof off that place.”

White would also still like to host an event inside Fenway Park. With the UFC making its MA debut inside the Celtic’s home, expect White to host an event in the historic ballpark in 2011.
