UFC Diego Sanchez

Diego Sanchez (pictured) fighting in Mexico just wasn’t meant to be. After watching two different opponents bow out with injuries, Sanchez has now suffered an undisclosed wound that will force him off the November 15 card.

The UFC made the announcement Thursday.

Sanchez was initially slated to face Norman Parke, then Joe Lauzon.

Welterweights Edgar Garcia and Hector Urbina have been promoted to the main card.

Of course, this news comes just two days after heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez withdrew from the night’s featured attraction against Fabricio Werdum with a knee injury. Werdum will now battle Mark Hunt for the interim heavyweight title in the show’s main event.
