A day after EliteXC made the shocking announcement that they added former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski to their October 4th show on CBS, Vice President Jared Shaw announced the addition of four undercard bouts to fill out the remainder of the card. “EliteXC: Heat” was already start-studded before the addition of Arlovski, however his presence only solidifies the card.

MMAJunkie.com confirmed with Shaw that Edson Berto will be meeting Conor Heun, Lorenzo Bogomeo will fight Mikey Gomez, Jorge Bouchat will take on Nicolae Cury, and David Gomez will be pitted against Brett Jackowski.

This fight card should score much better ratings than their last CBS event, “Unfinished Business” in July. Not only will company poster boy, Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson be taking on UFC Hall of Famer Ken Shamrock, but popular female fighter Gina Carano will be competing on the card as well.

Here is the official fight card for “Heat”:
Preliminary Bouts:

David Gomez vs. Brett Jackowski
Jorge Bouchat vs. Nicolae Cury
Lorenzo Borgomeo vs. Mikey Gomez
Seth Petruzelli vs. Aaron Rosa
Edson Berto vs. Connor Heun

Main Bouts:

Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos vs. Yoko Takahashi (Swing Bout)
Benji Radach vs. Murilo “Ninja” Rua
Gina Carano vs. Kelly Kobold-Gavin
Paul Daley vs. Jake Shields (EliteXC Welterweight Champion)
Roy Nelson vs. Andrei Arlovski
Kimbo Slice vs. Ken Shamrock
