Luke Rockhold (pictured) promised he would steamroll past Michael Bisping in the first round at UFC Fight Night 55. He promised!

It took 57 seconds longer than he predicted, but Rockhold finished Bisping with a flurry early in the second stanza. Better late than never, I guess…

It all started with a head kick that wobbled and dropped Bisping. Rockhold then unleashed a vicious left hand that nearly put “The Count” out cold. He immediately jumped on Bisping and slapped in a one-armed guillotine choke to seal the deal.

After the scrap was called, the archenemies hugged it out and it appears their beef is squashed.

Allphones Arena in Sydney, Australia hosted Saturday’s (Friday night in America) festivities.
