UFC Jake Ellenberger

It’s been well documented that Fabricio Werdum is a significant odds-on favorite to beat Mark Hunt at UFC 180 to capture the interim heavyweight title, so let’s move beyond that scrap.

Saturday’s co-main event features a pivotal welterweight shootout between Jake Ellenberger and Kelvin Gastelum. The prior has been labeled a “choker” by UFC president Dana White, while the latter is an up-and-comer who has had issues on the scale of late.

Gastelum is a -230 favorite to bump his professional record to a perfect 10-0. Ellenberger, meanwhile, checks in as nearly a 2-1 underdog.

Arena Ciudad de Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico hosts UFC 180.
