ProElite announced today that they have reached an agreement with Fox Sports Net to air a four-part EliteXC “Champions of the Cage” series, which will be hosted by Jay Glazer. The first show will premiere this Sunday at 9PM and will continue on Sundays through October 19th.

ProElite will use this weekend’s first episode to help promote fighters that will be competing on their October 4th event on CBS. You can catch UFC Hall of Famer Frank Shamrock taking on Phil Baroni, Kimbo Slice vs. Tank Abbot, as well as current EliteXC welterweight champion Jake Shields.

Here are some of the fights that will be featured on the upcoming shows:

October 5: Anderson “The Spider” Silva vs. Jorge Rivera

October 12: “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler vs. Murilo “Ninja” Rua

October 19: Quinton “Rampage” Jackson vs. Sean Gray

“Being included in the FSN’s Sunday Sports Block gives us an opportunity to develop our audience and add to our TV cache by putting more of our MMA superstars in primetime,” said ProElite VP of Home Entertainment Turi Altavilla. “We think this series has terrific potential and we are really excited about it.”
