It appears to be do-or-die time for Jake Ellenberger (pictured) and Josh Koscheck. On Tuesday, the UFC announced the welterweights will collide at UFC 184.
The February 28 event takes place inside Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
Both 170-pounders will be riding a three-fight skid into the scrap. Koschecks, however, hasn’t been seen since getting knocked out by Tryon Woodley last November. Prior to that, he was defeated by Robbie Lawler and Johny Hendricks.
Ellenberger, meanwhile, looks to get his once-promising career back on track. After winning five of his first since in the UFC, he’s since dropped four of six.
Here is the card’s current lineup:
Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto vs. Roman Salazar
Josh Koscheck vs. Jake Ellenberger
Frank Mir vs. Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva
Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza vs. Yoel Romero
Cat Zingano vs. Ronda Rousey (UFC bantamweight champion)
Vitor Belfort vs. Chris Weidman (UFC middleweight champion)
