UFC Charles Oliveira

The Nevada Athletic Commission has released the disclosed salaries for all of the athletes who competed in last Friday’s “The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale” event.

Featherweight Charles Oliveira (pictured) was the card’s highest earner with $54,000 ($27k came via win bonus) for beating Jeremy Stephens in the co-main event. However, 10 percent of Oliveira’s show money ($2,700) will go to Stephens because the Brazilian missed weight.

Freshly minted strawweight champion Carla Esparza came in just behind Oliveira with $50,000 for upsetting Rose Namajunas to become the UFC’s inaugural 115-pound queen.

Please keep in mind, the numbers that get reported to the athletic commissions are only of what’s required. These figures do not include deductions for items such as licenses and taxes.

Additionally, they do not contain money paid by sponsors or any bonuses from the UFC. These royalties can include Fight Night bonuses, top secret discretionary bonuses, etc., which can oftentimes represent a substantial portion of a fighter’s total income.

The Pearl inside The Palms in Las Vegas hosted Friday’s event.
