On Sunday, a lightweight scrap between Edson Barboza (pictured) and Michael Johnson was announced for the UFC’s February 22 event in Brazil.
Barboza will be riding a two-fight winning streak into the tango. The Brazilian most recently posted a unanimous decision victory over Bobby Green in November.
Johnson, meanwhile, is perfect through his past three outings. “The Menace” has been out of action since taking a decision over former Blackzilian teammate Melvin Guillard in March.
Gigantinho Gymnasium in Porto Alegre, Brazil will host the festivities.
Fox Sports 1 is expected to broadcast the main card live in America.
Here is the show’s current lineup:
Wendell Oliveira vs. T.J. Waldburger

Santiago Ponzinibbio vs. Sean Strickland
Matt Dwyer vs. William Macario
