No more brawling and shoe flinging inside the MGM Grand lobby, it’s almost time for Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier to fight legally – and get paid handsomely (for MMA athletes) for entertaining us, at that.
“UFC 182: Jones vs. Cormier” finally goes down this Saturday inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Jones looks to make his eighth straight light heavyweight title defense when he meets bitter rival Cormier in the card’s featured attraction. Of course that’s the shootout everyone is talking about, but let’s not forget the bout many hardcore fans believe can steal the show.
Lightweights Donald Cerrone (pictured) and Myles Jury meet in the co-main event.
That’s really about it in this lineup. Maybe the Josh Burkman and Hector Lombard bout, but the last two contests should be worth your $54.95.
