Holly Holm’s (pictured) UFC Debut: Take Two. On Tuesday, the promotion announced Holm will finally face Raquel Pennington at UFC 184.
The February 28 event goes down inside Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
The bantamweights were initially slated to meet at UFC 181, but Holm was forced off the card with an injury. Pennington went on to submit Ashlee Evans-Smith on the December card.
Pennington has now won two of her three fights in the UFC since graduating from “The Ultimate Fighter 18.”
After a back-and-forth battle at the negotiating table, Holm finally came to terms to join the UFC July. The standup specialist owns an unblemished 7-0 MMA record since transitioning from boxing in March 2011.
The 33-year-old has shown she’s much more than just hands inside the cage, finishing off five of her victims with her legs.
