As we ALL know by now, the greatest mixed martial artist in the history of ever returns to action January 18 in Boston. No, silly, not UFC light heavyweight king Jon Jones. Conor McGregor (pictured), of course – that is, if you were to ask the UFC.
McGregor looks to advanced to a featherweight title tilt against champion Jose Aldo with a win over veteran Dennis Siver.
McGregor is currently a 9.5-1 odds-on favorite to dispose of Siver.
Former lightweight champ Benson Henderson meets Eddie Alvarez in the co-main event. Other than that, the rest of the card is pretty much of the ho-hum variety.
TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts hosts the festivities.
