In a desperate attempt to distract fans from the mess that is now Jon Jones’ life, the UFC announced a heavyweight shootout between Alistair Overeem (pictured) and Roy Nelson for UFC 185.

The March 14 event goes down inside American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

It’s an interesting matchup considering one is coming off a win and the other a highlight reel knockout.

Overeem posted a much-needed KO win over Stefan Struve last month. The former top contender had dropped three of four bouts prior to UFC on FOX 13.

Nelson, meanwhile, was last seen in September getting put to sleep by Mark Hunt. “Big Country” has lost three of his last four bouts.

Just in case you missed the shocking news earlier today, Jones has admitted himself into a rehab facility after cocaine was discovered in a random drug test prior to Saturday’s UFC 182 scrap.

Here is the show’s currently lineup:

Alistair Overeem vs. Roy Nelson

Rafael Dos Anjos vs. Anthony Pettis (UFC lightweight champion)
