With a showdown looming against former heavyweight title contender, Brandon Vera, a humbled Keith Jardine is ready to prove to the world that his loss to Wanderlei Silva at UFC 84 was a fluke.
“The Reese Andy fight was an incredibly boring fight.” Jardine commented about Vera’s last fight.
Although Jardine has been on the receiving end more lately, he understands that its what the fans want. “I have a style where I take a lot of chances, a lot of risks, but it’s always gonna be exciting.” Jardine continued.
When asked about how he felt about Vera’s last victory at UFC Fight Night 14, Jardine wasn’t shy by saying, “he [Brandon Vera] knew he was going to win halfway through the fight, and then took the easy way out and cruised to victory.”
Both light heavyweights have a lot to prove in a very crowded division. We’ll see who comes out on top on October 18th.
