Nik Lentz (pictured) hasn’t been seen since posting a unanimous decision victory over Manny Gamburyan in March 2014. That hiatus will continue after Lentz was pulled from Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 60 scrap against James Moontasri just minutes prior to today’s weigh-ins.
Doctors determined Lentz wasn’t healthy enough to compete due to flu-like symptoms.
No word if Lentz or Moontasri will be paid their show money.
The 145-pound affair was slated to headline the card’s prelims. Based on the current bout order, those duties will now fall to Efrain Escudero and Rodrigo Lima.
The lightweight tango between James Moontasri and Cody Pfister will now get promoted from a UFC Fight Pass stream to kicking off the Fox Sports 1 broadcast.
UFC Fight Night 60 takes place inside 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado.
