There aren’t many storylines heading into UFC 184 because bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey (pictured) has a lot of respect for opponent Cat Zingano.
Holly Holm is making her UFC debut against Raquel Pennington in the card’s co-main event, but Holm hasn’t offered up any bulletin board material to warrant much press.
Something we can talk about is money, because who doesn’t like money? Rousey’s betting line has dropped 15 percent in just two days, which shows the money is starting to move towards Zingano’s side of the sand.
Rousey went from being a 10-1 odds-on favorite Monday to a 8.5-1 favorite today. That’s a significant drop given the time frame. Zingano was at +600 and is now +525.
It will be interesting to see if Rousey’s odds keep plummeting or if they it will go back up at game time.
UFC 184 takes place inside Staples Center in Los Angeles.
