It’s not quite as dramatic as Rocky Balboa traveling to Russia to fight Ivan Drago in hostile territory to avenge the death of his dear friend Apollo Creed, but UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey (pictured) is more than eager to hop a plane to Brazil to lay the smack down on Bethe Correia for beating two of her BFFs.

There’s currently a short list of potential contenders for Rousey’s crown, and an even shorter list for legitimate threats to her reign, but Correia’s constant trash talk is starting to rub Rousey the wrong way.

“There is this young, up-and-coming Brazilian chick with an undefeated record that beat two of my friends and has been trying to rub it in my face and pretty much trying to get in an argument with me, because, like you said, when you’re in an argument with me, you’re suddenly more important,” Rousey said on the Jay Mohr’s radio show. “I guess this chick figured that out, but messing with mama bear is a very bad idea.”

Correia is 31, so I’m not quite sure about this “young and up-and-coming” thing, but she does own a perfect 9-0 record and could very well be next in line.

Mohr suggested Rousey give Correia every advantage available, like going to Correia’s backyard of Brazil, and just demolishing her in order to leave no doubt that she messed with the wrong person – a la Rocky in “Rocky IV.”

Mohr took the words right out of Rousey’s unfiltered mouth.

“That’s what I want to do,” Rousey stated. “I want to go and fight her in Brazil and beat her in her hometown and that would be the best way I could really feel like I’ve vindicated my friends, to go to her hometown and beat her in her hometown and be total Rocky IV on it.”

Speaking of movies, a Correia fight will have to wait because Rousey is headed back to Hollywood to film “Mile 22.”
