My, what one upset special can do for your betting line. Renan Barao was a whopping 8-1 odds-on favorite when he fell to T.J. Dillshaw at UFC 173.

After that shocking lopsided beatdown, the pendulum has now swung in Dillashaw’s favor. Dillashaw is currently a -265 favorite to go up 2-0 on Barao, who the UFC had touted as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the game until Dillashaw did his thing to him.

Barao enters UFC 186 as slightly more than a 2-1 underdog for the rematch.

Strangely, Dillashaw was only a 1.5-1 favorite when the sequel was originally set for UFC 177. Barao was +120 before he had to withdraw after his body went into shock during the weight cut.

UFC 186 goes down April 25 in Montreal, Canada.

Here is the early wagering line for Dillashaw vs. Barao II:

Favorite (-) Underdog (+)

T.J. Dillashaw -265
Renan Barao +205

Gambling 101:

Bet $265 on Dillashaw and he’s victorious, you win $100
Bet $100 on Barao and he’s victorious, you win $205
