After a spectacular night of MMA action, UFC president Dana White awarded Rafael dos Anjos (pictured), Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Ross Pearson and Beneil Dariush each an additional $50,000 for their special performances Saturday night at “UFC 185: Pettis vs. Dos Anjos.”
Once again, the UFC opted to skip awarding anyone “Fight of the Night” and decided to hand out four “Performance of the Night” checks instead.
Of course, dos Anjos pocketed an extra paycheck for upsetting Anthony Pettis to capture the lightweight title in the show’s featured attraction.
Speaking of obvious, Jedrzejczyk scored a check for dominating Carla Esparza to win the strawweight belt in the co-main event.
Pearson knocked Sam Stout out cold for his bonus, while Dariush submitted Daron Cruickshank with a rear-naked choke to earn the final “Performance of the Night” award.
UFC 185 took place inside American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
