UFC Josh Koscheck

Perhaps the most significant scrap at UFC Fight Night 62 is the co-main event between former welterweight top contender Josh Koscheck (pictured) and once-promising up-and-comer Erick Silva.

Not because the bout has any title implications – far from it, actually – but a loss would have to mean the end of the road in the UFC for Koscheck.

Koscheck is riding a four-fight skid into the tango, and the Gambling Gods don’t believe his string of losses will end tonight. The veteran is nearly a 4-1 underdog against Silva.

Silva, meanwhile, checks in as a 5.5-1 odds-on favorite to blast “The Ultimate Fighter 1” contestant.

Maracanazinho Gymnasium in Rio de Janeiro hosts the festivities.
