WWE minority owner Stephanie McMahon is breathing a sigh of relief right now, because it appears Ronda Rousey’s (pictured) surprise appearance at Sunday’s Wrestlemania 31 will be her last for the foreseeable future.
On this week’s edition of “UFC Tonight,” Rousey’s agent, Brad Slater, revealed there is no WWE deal in the works for the UFC’s reigning women’s bantamweight champion to re-join the world of fake fighting.
This past Sunday, Rousey and her fellow “Four Horsewomen” were merely regular fanatics sitting front row enjoying the action inside Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California until McMahon and Triple H started getting froggish with The Rock.
The Rock quickly spotted Rousey and requested her assistance. “Rowdy” hopped the barricade and started to layeth the smacketh down on McMahon and Triple H.
There was chatter that unforgettable moment was setting up a tag-team (re)match at next year’s Wrestlemania, but it appears not.
Rousey will be hitting the red carpet in the coming months premiering “Furious 7” and “Entourage” movies. She will then star in “Mile 22” before kicking off her training camp for Bethe Correia.
Rousey defends her throne against the Brazilian August 1 at UFC 190 in Rio de Janeiro.
