UFC 108 is now over as Rashad Evans was able to bounce back from his disappointing loss to Lyoto Machida by defeating Thiago Silva.

1stRound: The fighters start with a couple wild exchanges, dos Santos lands an overhand right and uses another one that Yvel doesn’t defend. Yvel throws a leg kick that gets blocked, dos Santos lands a left hook that drops Yvel which opens the window for some ground and pound before the referee steps in to stop the fight.

Result: Junior dos Santos defeated Gilbert Yvel via TKO (Strikes) at 2:07 in the 1stRound

1stRound: Ludwig starts with a straight right that catches Miller. The favorite Miller throws a nice combination that ends with a straight right of his own. Neither fighter seems to want to get the fight to the ground but Miller drops Ludwig with another straight right punch and gets into the full mount. Miller transitions into an armbar and forces Ludwig to tapout.

1stRound: Lauzon takes Stout down and goes for a kimura but Stout is able to escape back to his feet. Stout already has a cut over his left eye but continues to push forward and lands a nice right to Lauzon’s face. Lauzon shoots in for a double leg and gets Stout down again but Stout gets back to his feet again as Lauzon pulls guard. Stout is starting to sniff out Lauzon’s takedown attempts and is landing strikes until he gets caught with one himself. Stout lands a left hook to Lauzon’s liver but Lauzon lands a straight right of his own. Stout’s confidence is clearly gaining as he lands a spinning back fist as the round ends. 2ndRound: Stout starts the round by stuffing another Lauzon takedown and lands a liver shot. Lauzon eats a front kick and scores another takedown but Stout gets to his feet again. Lauzon starts to land a few strikes of his own but Stout’s combinations are having a bigger effect. Another failed takedown attempt forces Lauzon to pull guard. Stout dominates the action in the second round.

3rdRound: Lauzon starts out aggressive with a combination to close the gap for a clinch but is unable to get Stout down. Stout lands another combination that has Lauzon wondering what he can do to stop him. Lauzon catches a Stout kick and finally gets him to the ground. Lauzon gets into the full mount and goes for a guillotine choke but Stout once again escapes. Stout lands a left uppercut that stuns Lauzon, Stout ends the fight with another combination.

Result: Sam Stout defeated Joe Lauzon via Unanimous Decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-27)

1stRound: Hazelett starts out with a rolling thunder type of move that gets the crowd’s attention. Daley looks cautious of the takedown at the start as he throws a left jab. Daley is using his kicks to keep some distance. Daley lands a left hook that drops Hazelett and follows-up with another left on the way down that puts Hazelett out.

Result: Paul Daley defeated Dustin Hazelett via Knockout (Punch) at 2:24 in the 1stRound

1stRound: Evans starts with a combination to get into the clinch as he drops down and slams Silva down right into side control. Evans moves into the full mount but Silva escapes and gest back to his feet. The fighter finally separate and exchange blows, Evans catches a Silva knee and scores another takedown. Evans is using a lot of head movement on the feet and grabs a hold of Silva once again up against the cage. Evans lands an uppercut as they separate and scores another takedown after a quick combination. Silva again gets back up and throws a head kick that misses as the buzzer sounds.

2ndRound: Evans uses a double right hook to get back into the body clinch, Silva lands a knee to Evans’ gut and misses with an uppercut as they move away from the fence. Evans capitalizes on another Silva missed strike with a takedown right into the half guard. Silva escapes but gets slammed down once again as you can see the frustration mounting on Silva’s face. Silva looks a lot more tentative after the repeated takedowns, Silva lands a right hand to Evans’ face and another straight right hand. Evans throws a double jab and drives Silva into the cage and takes him down.

3rdRound: The fight is back into the clinch with Silva’s back up against the cage. Silva throws a big right hook that sails over Evans’ head which allows him to get taken down but he pops right back up. Silva starts to implore Evans to start striking as Silva drops his hands to get Evans to force the action. Evans is remaining calm but gets rocked by a straight right as he’s trying to survive. Silva is still mocking Evans but Evans is recovering and pushes Silva into the cage again as the fight comes to an end.

Result: Rashad Evans defeated Thiago Silva via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
