The waiting period is almost over as UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar will be going in for a follow-up examination sometime this week that will determine whether or not he’ll be able to step into the Octagon again.
“Brock’s going to the doctor this week, and we’ll know how this thing is going to go – whether it’s over,” White recently told the media at a UFC 108 presser.
As we had previously reported, Lesnar is suffering from diverticulitis, which is an illness that attacks the host’s intestines.
White stated that Lesnar is also ailing from other illnesses but the champion has decided to keep them private.
If Lesnar can no longer continue, the UFC will lose it’s biggest draw during what could be the highest point for the sport of MMA.
