On Monday, it was announced a middleweight brawl between Dan Henderson (pictured) and Tim Boetsch will headline UFC Fight Night 68.
Daniel Cormier and Ryan Bader were originally slated to serve as the show’s featured attraction, but Cormier got bumped to a title tilt at UFC 187 after the whole Jon Jones debacle.
Henderson is looking to bounce back from two straight losses. The 44-year-old has dropped five of his past six scraps and could very well be fighting for his UFC life.
Boetsch hasn’t fared much better in his past six outings, having lost four. “The Barbarian” was most recently seen getting submitted by Thales Leites in January.
The June 6 event takes place inside Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Fox Sports 1 broadcasts the main card live.
Here is the show’s current lineup:
Joe Soto vs. Anthony Birchak
Joe Proctor vs. Justin Edwards
Francisco Rivera vs. Alex Caceres
Dustin Poirier vs. Yancy Medeiros
Dan Henderson vs. Tim Boetsch
Matt Mitrione vs. Ben Rothwell
