We have officially entered UFC 187 fight week, and there’s no better way to kick off the hoopla train than with an episode of “Countdown.”
UFC 187 goes down Saturday night inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Light heavyweight champion Jon Jones – oops, my bad (too soon?) I mean, Anthony Johnson (pictured) and Daniel Cormier battle for the vacant light heavyweight after Jones was stripped of his strap following last month’s felony hit-and-run arrest.
Middleweight champ Chris Weidman finally fights Vitor Belfort in the show’s co-featured attraction.
The lineup isn’t quite as star-studded as it once was, but at least it still showcases a pair of title tilts.
