The fight that was supposed to happen at UFC 107 could headline a rumored May 1st card for the world’s largest MMA promotion. Quinton Jackson’s sudden “retirement” from the sport of MMA forced the UFC to pit Rashad Evans against Thiago Silva at this past weekend’s UFC 108.
After taking home a unanimous decision victory over Silva, Evans is ready to finally fight against the man that he spent an entire season jawing back and forth with on “The Ultimate Fighter.”
“I heard that there’s an actor coming back. Rampage, I know you’re watching. Come back and let’s get it on,” Evans said immediately after his win.
