The UFC has just announced Hall won’t be able to travel to Germany due to visa issues. Jotko will be shelved for a later event.
A rib injury has forced Derek Brunson out of his June 20 bout against Krzysztof Jotko. Former “The Ultimate Fighter 17” runner-up Uriah Hall (pictured) has agreed to serve as a last-second substitute.
Hall is looking to rebound from May’s split decision defeat to Rafael Natal. “Primetime” had won three straight prior to meeting the Brazilian.
Jotko owns a 15-1 professional record and has gone 2-1 under the UFC’s watch. He most recently outpointed Tor Troeng in October for a decision win.
No word on how long Brunson will be forced to sit the sidelines.
O2 World in Berlin, Germany hosts the festivities. Fox Sports 1 will likely air the main card live in America.
