As if UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey needed any more motivation to fight and beat Cris “Cyborg” Justino (pictured)… However, the “Rowdy” one is not gonna be too pleased about this one.

Rousey’s bosses are helping Invicta FC promote her rival as “The Baddest Woman on The Planet.”

The tag line was plastered across the screen for Invicta FC 19’s promotional video, which is currently uploaded on the UFC’s official YouTube channel. Invicta 19 will also stream live on UFC Fight Pass on July 19.

While she’s presently fighting for Invicta, Justino is under contract with Zuffa, LLC, the parent company of the UFC. Zuffa cuts her checks.

UFC president Dana White said earlier this month that after Justino defends her Invicta featherweight title against Faith Van Duin, and presumably wins, she will drop down to bantamweight in order to setup a superfight with Rousey.

It is unknown if Justino would have to take one bantamweight bout, either in Invicta or most likely the UFC, to prove she can make 135 pounds without issue before getting a crack at Rousey, but that would make since for the UFC since Cyborg has never competed at that weight and has had issues just making 145 pounds in the past.

Don’t worry, Ronda. At least Sports Illustrated dubbed you the “World’s Most Dominant Athlete” on their cover.

Rousey’s hype train is already blasting full speed ahead, so there’s great incentive for the UFC to push Justino to the casual fan. White previously predicted a blockbuster bout between Rousey and Justino would do over two million pay-per-view buys, surpassing UFC 100 which reportedly generated 1.5 million purchases.
