UFC octagon girl Brittney Palmer (pictured) and Aaron Zalewski were married in May 2014, and they lived happily…
Hold that thought.
According to TMZ Sports, Zalewski was arrested and charged with attempted murder, spousal battery, and criminal threats last month after an alleged physical altercation with Palmer in the early morning at their Los Angeles home.
The argument supposedly started June 11 when Zalewski heard a casting agent call his wife “babe” over the phone. Zalewski was none too pleased and tried to wrestle the phone from Palmer.
Zalweski then noticed she was reportedly trying to record the disagreement on her phone and threw her to the ground, causing Palmer’s head to hit the bedpost.
In the police report, Palmer said Zalewski yelled, “Pack your f**king bags and go!” but refused to let her leave. She claims he then threw her on the bed, pinning her face down to the mattress with his knee on her back.
When Palmer managed to wiggle free, she says Zalewski proceeded to scratch his own arms and yell, “Why are you making me do this? I just wanted you to love me.”
Palmer finally escaped the house at around 1:25 AM on June 12 and called the police.
Zalewski was arrested and subsequently released on $1 million bail the following day.
Two days after the incident, Palmer posted a picture of a message that read “Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations” on her verified Twitter account.
Based on her timeline, Palmer has been in Hawaii doing a photo shoot.
Palmer is expected to be in Las Vegas this week for International Fight Week and circle the octagon at UFC 189 on Saturday.
The UFC has yet to address the incident.
