“UFC 108: Evans vs. Silva” Salaries Released

The Nevada State Athletic Commission has just released the paydays for this weekend’s UFC 108 event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Not only did former light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans barely escape Vegas with a win, but the wrestler also pocketed a cool $375K for his Unanimous D over Thiago Silva.

Paul Daley once again electrified UFC fans as he violently put Dustin Hazelett to sleep in the 1stRound of their welterweight matchup. Unfortunately it wasn’t a perfect night for the Brit as he was fined 10% of his show purse due to his inability to meet the 171-pound limit for a non-title welterweight scrap.

The fighters ultimately agreed to a 172-pound catchweight bout, however Hazelett takes home an additional $1,800 for the extra pound Daley was packing.

Shoulda gotten that Royal without cheese, I guess.
