Sorry, Michael Bisping. It looks like Vitor Belfort will fight Dan Henderson (pictured) a third time instead of granting you a rematch.
On Saturday night, Henderson tried to steal Ronda Rousey’s thunder by announcing on Twitter that he’s facing Belfort on November 7.
The event is expected to take place in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
This is a true rubber match, with Henderson taking a unanimous decision win back in 2006 at Pride 32 and Belfort knotting up the score with a highlight reel head kick KO in 2013.
Henderson collected a much needed victory by knocking out Tim Boetsch in June to snap his two-fight losing skid. Henderson has dropped five of his last seven bouts.
Belfort, meanwhile, is looking to bounce back from May’s title loss to reigning middleweight champion Chris Weidman. “The Phenom” had won three straight prior to facing Weidman.
Fox Sports 1 will likely broadcast the main card.
No other bouts have been reported for the lineup.
