The creator of the YES! Cartwheel is taking his talents to the featherweight division. On Wednesday, the UFC announced Diego Sanchez (pictured) will make his 145-pound debut against Ricardo Lamas.

The pair will collide November 21 when the octagon returns to Mexico for a UFC Fight Night event.

This marks the fourth weight class Sanchez has competed in since emerging onto the UFC scene as the winner of “The Ultimate Fighter 1” back in 2005. Fighters typically moved up in weight as they get older, but the 33-year-old Sanchez appears to prefer the middleweight to welterweight to lightweight to featherweight route.

Lamas, meanwhile, is looking to bounce back from April’s TKO defeat to Chad Mendes. The former top contender has dropped two of his last four fights.

Arena Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico hosts the festivities.

Fox Sports 1 is expected to air the main card live in America.
