UFC 192 is starting to compile quite the star-studded lineup. The latest addition to the October 3 event was a welterweight showdown between former champion Johny Hendricks (pictured) and Tyron Woodley.
The scrap was announced on Wednesday’s edition of “UFC Tonight.”
Hendricks is looking to build off March’s unanimous decision victory over Matt Brown. “Bigg Rigg” has won two of his last four fights, with both defeats coming in title tilts.
Woodley, meanwhile, will be riding a two-fight winning streak into the bout. He was last seen taking a split decision over Kelvin Gastelum in January.
Toyota Center in Houston hosts the gig.
Here is the show’s updated roster:
Chris Cariaso vs. Sergio Pettis
Alan Jouban vs. Albert Tumenov
Daniel Hooker vs. Yair Rodriguez
Julianna Pena vs. Jessica Eye
Ruslan Magomedov vs. Shawn Jordan
Johny Hendricks vs. Tyron Woodley
Rashad Evans vs. Ryan Bader
Alexander Gustafsson vs. Daniel Cormier (UFC light heavyweight champion)
