Arguably the best heavyweight scrap in UFC history* is about to get a sequel. On Wednesday, it was confirmed Mark Hunt (pictured) and Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva will dance again at UFC 193.
Of course, Silva is to blame for the instant classic’s asterisk after flunking his post-fight drug test for elevated levels of testosterone.
The 2013 bout resulted in a majority draw, but given Silva’s cheating ways, Hunt won in the eyes of many because he stood toe-to-toe with a cheater and nearly walked away victorious.
Hunt has dropped two straight fights via TKO. “The Super Samoan” was most recently plastered by Stipe Miocic in May.
Silva, meanwhile, has dropped two of three since serving his drug suspension. He was last seen beating Soa Palelei in August.
The November 14 event goes down inside Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.
Here is the show’s updated lineup:
Michael Bisping vs. Robert Whittaker
Mark Hunt vs. Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva
Carlos Condit vs. Robbie Lawler (UFC welterweight champion)
