On Sunday it was announced a welterweight tango between former top contender Thiago Alves and Benson Henderson will headline the UFC’s debut in Korea. Today, the show’s co-featured attraction was confirmed.
Heavyweight Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic will face Anthony Hamilton in the November 28 event.
Filipovic made a successful return to the octagon in his last outing by posting a TKO victory over Gabriel Gonzaga in April. The 40-year-old has won three in a row.
Hamilton, meanwhile, has won half of his four fights under the UFC’s watch. The slugger most recently beat Daniel Omielanczuk in April.
Olympic Park Gymnastics Arena in Seoul, South Korea serves as host.
