An elbow injury has forced middleweight Michael Bisping (pictured) out of his UFC 193 matchup against Robert Whittaker.
Bisping will require minor surgery and is expected to be out a few weeks.
Bisping’s status was reported on this week’s edition of “UFC Tonight.”
No word if the UFC will keep Whittaker in the November 14 event or save him for another day.
Bisping has won two straight scraps, most recently taking a split decision over Thales Leites in July.
Whittaker, meanwhile, is perfect through his past three outings. He’s looking to build off May’s knockout victory over Brad Tavares.
Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia hosts the festivities.
