Two of the UFC’s brightest youngsters will now be on display December 10. On Monday, the UFC announced 19-year-old Sage Northcutt (pictured) will make a quick turnaround and face fellow lightweight Cody Pfister at UFC Fight Night 80.
The show is already headlined by Paige VanZant, who at just 21 is already garnering major attention.
Northcutt is just 16 days removed from TKO’ing Francisco Trevino in his UFC debut. Immediately after beating Trevino, “Super” took his talents up north to train at TriStar Gym with former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre.
Northcutt owns a perfect 6-0 professional record.
Pfister, meanwhile, is looking to build off July’s victory over Yosdenis Cedeno. He was submitted by James Moontasri in his UFC debut before that.
Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, Nevada hosts the festivities.
UFC Fight Pass streams the entire event live.
VanZant meets Joanne Calderwood in the night’s featured attraction.
