UFC middleweight Uriah Hall (pictured) is a ride or die friend when it comes to Ronda Rousey. Despite suffering an upset loss to Robert Whittaker on Saturday at UFC 193, another in a long line of disappointing outings for Hall, he’s more focused on defending his friend than getting his roller coaster career back on track.
Hall went on an extended rant on his Instagram Wednesday addressing all the keyboard warriors who think Rousey is all of a sudden the worst mixed martial artist in the history of ever just because she was knocked out by Holly Holm.
“It kills me how people true color shines how one woman change the face of this sport inspiring men women and kids to not only reach a dream but change the game @rondarousey is still a legend yes we all fall but some of you guys are no different from a terrorist smfh just remember at the end of the day all you have is words … Meanwhile she still has more money than you she’s still love by many and she still one of the best in the world.. Go ahead type away mother f*ckers type away,” Hall wrote.
Hall is right, Rousey has done far more good than bad since joining the UFC. However, let’s leave the word “terrorist” out of it, especially with that’s going on in the real world.
If anybody knows about having to deal with Internet trolls, it’s Hall, who was supposed to be “the next Anderson Silva” coming off “The Ultimate Fighter 17.” After nine bouts in the big leagues, Hall has posted just a mundane 5-4 record.
It appeared as though Hall finally found his groove by upsetting Gegard Mousasi in September, but he did the most Uriah Hall thing by coming up empty against Whittaker.
