It’s official, UFC veteran Martin Kampmann (pictured) has called it a career.
The news isn’t shocking considering the 33 year old hasn’t been seen since suffering a vicious TKO defeat to Carlos Condit in August 2013.
“I’ve known for a while,” Kampmann told UFC.com. “I just haven’t really made it official. I’m not sure why.”
Since his loss to Condit, Kampmann had serves as temporary coach of the talented Team Alpha Male squad in Sacramento. He’ll now focus on raising his three kids, who are all under the age of four.
Kampmann concludes his 10-year career with a respectable 20-7 professional record.
