Ronda Rousey (pictured) might not be as hot as she was in the MMA world prior to getting dismantled by Holly Holm at UFC 193, but she’s still white hot in Hollywood.
On Friday, Deadline.com reported Universal Pictures has acquired the rights to film “Do Nothing Bitches,” which will star Rousey and comedian Tina Fey.
The movie will be based off Rousey’s trademarked “Do Nothing Bitch” tagline that she made famous in an interview prior to plastering Bethe Correia at UFC 190. DNB is centered around women doing something with their lives besides giving up the goods to guys who have money.
Rousey subsequently printed “Do Nothing Bitch” t-shirts and reportedly sold 57,000 units.
Beyonce even used the phrase in the background screen at her concert.
The movie is expected to be about “wealthy pampered wives who get a rude awakening at a camp where Rousey plays the no-nonsense instructor.”
No word when the comedy will go into production.
Rousey will also film the remake of “Road House” and “Mile 22” in 2016.
As far as her day job, Rousey was tentatively scheduled to get an immediate rematch against Holm to try and reclaim her UFC bantamweight title at UFC 200 in July, but Rousey requested and was granted additional time off. No word when Rousey will return to the cage.
