First it was University of Alabama head football coach Nick Saban using Conor McGregor’s infamous (now-famous) “we’re not here to take part, we’re here to take over” line to motivate his team prior to winning the national championship, now it’s NBA superstar LeBron James tearing a page out of McGregor’s lengthy quote book.
While his Cleveland Cavaliers are expected to win the east and return to the NBA Finals, the defending champion Golden State Warriors went into their house Monday and laid the smack down to the tune of a 34 point route.
With questions now swirling about his Cavs, James copied and pasted McGregor’s quote about how obsession is the key to his success to his Instagram page. Copy and paste? Kenny Florian, is that you?
As far as McGregor’s Instagram account, he recently posted a video of him cruising around town in a reported $400,000 Lamborghini that spits fire out of the tailpipe. Poor James, he’s stuck riding in a KIA 900.
Hopefully, one day James will make that McGregor money…
