“WEC 46: Varner vs. Henderson” took place Sunday night inside the Arco Arena in Sacramento, California.

Ben Henderson unified the WEC lightweight title by submitting champion Jaime Varner in the 3rdRound with a sick guillotine choke.

Prior to that, former WEC featherweight title holder Urijah Faber bounced back nicely from his loss to then-champion Mike Brown at WEC 41 last June by syncing a submission of his own. “The California Kid” caught Raphael Assuncao in a rear-naked choke in the 3rdRound of their exciting 145-pound battle.
